Get a few track days under your belt on the 250. You won't be regretting anything when you're wringing the throttle around corners and passing the bigger cc's through the twisties.

Thank goodness for frame sliders, no evidence at all. Trying to maneuver out of a steep driveway late late at night and the bump at the bottom caught me completely unawares. Tipped her too far....

For a 250 I think it depends on the bike behavior itself as they all have unique attitudes. The original thought was about getting a damper for the 636 though.
