Mileage Update

I rode my new 15T for a whole tank this week. I did not completely run it dry because I won't have time to stop and fill up this week but this is how it turned out:

222 miles
3.2 gallons to top...

I have a 2004 just like yours. The first and so far only problem I had with it was the starter except mine would not even spin. I removed the fairing, removed the bolt holding it on, disconnected...

Thanks, but I disagree...

I thought it was a bad battery also so I took it down to the local dealership to have it tested. They said it had about 20% life left. Besides, it was the original battery from 2004 (7 years old)...

The starter fix

Okay, here is my fix in case someone else runs into this problem.

I was able to bump start my ninja but it would not start again once I turned it off. I removed the starter which was a simple job...

Yep, I hooked it up to a new "microcomputer controlled conditioner charger" that indicated it was 100% charged so I don't think it is the battery.

1) Yesterday, my Ninja fired right up.
2) Today, it wouldn't turn over.
3) The solenoid clicks.
4) I bought a new battery.
5) It still won't start. Solenoid still clicks.
6) Main fuse is good....

I just bought a 2004 Ninja 250 this week. Does anyone know what type of bulb the license plate light takes? I thought the bulb was burned out but then found out the original owner removed the bulb....
