You mean because those cables are captive in the bracket? I bent the guides keep them in place. Did the same to the new/replacement bracket so I can get them back in place, ensuring they don't move...

I suggest removing the bracket altogether....

I suggest removing the bracket altogether. Loosening it may not release the twist. This was the case for me.
