change the oil and filter, look for signs of water, seems you have all the water out of the gas tank and fuel system. take the can off of the bike, if it's a 2 piece, if not remove from the engine...

if it leaks, and allows gas to flow, you can end up overflowing your carbs, you will then get gas into the engine, it will then mix with your oil, and you will then have more issues than you will...

It's a bummer once the heads get screwed up, but once you get them out of there and your ready for assembly get yourself some stainless steel allen head bolts, and you won't have to worry about...
