well, each carb on the triumph has a prime button...

well, each carb on the triumph has a prime button in it that you press down till gas comes out under the button and runs all over the place...sloppy but very effective...
so that vent is always open...

what made this fire "blow up" was the wind ! it was erratic and strong probably up to 20~30 mph !.... strong winds are normal here 50mph winds are not uncommon for days on end, fire, wind, and DRY...

re fill it with oil up to where the gas was and then leave it till your ready to tear it down...... then drain the oil.... the oil is just to stop any rust...

take a piece of 80 grit sandpaper and wrap it...

take a piece of 80 grit sandpaper and wrap it around your finger and get in there and make that all shinnie metal !
once you get the big hunks off you can switch to 220 grit or something...
