But if you have access to a stick welder, you can take a short length of pipe the same diameter of the bolt head, hold it up against the bolt and then weld them together...

I went through exactly that today. After draining the carbs and tank, I came away with a bike that runs well and over four onces of water. So it may well just be water in the system.

I've found gear on craigslist and ebay. Cycle Gear (if one is close) may have something that will fit you....
