Battery arrived, looks a little smaller but turns...

Battery arrived, looks a little smaller but turns starter briskly and charging voltage appears to be about the same.

Installed with a few pieces of packing, threw away the overflow hose; hooray!...

I think Yuasa and other major battery manufacturers should produce maintenance free batteries for practically every model to replace the battery...

It's a pretty nice 250 bike, maybe consider teardown, easy enough to get the top end out of there, then inspect to determine actual damage...there's plenty of used parts around,...

I thought my snap-on attachment with valve would screw right into the adapter, wouldn't change the position of the valve by very much, would it?

Sorry for your bad luck. If I wasn't 2500 miles away, I would snap that one up, in a heartbeat, love that Kawasaki Green paint scheme. :(:(
