Not to bothered by fuel economy to be honest, I have 3 other tuned liter motorcycles so a 250 burning a little more fuel is negligible lol

majority of my bikes have this cos i like to switch out handlebars and i've never had an issue with them moving

Thanks for the response. interesting that external variables would play such a big part, I've always ran pods on my old oil cooled suzuki's but also have always paid to have them set up on a dyno....

Anyone run a 250 with airbox removed

Now i hauled my $100 Ninja back to Illinois from Kansas and I am deciding what to do with her.

Only way i would build her back to stock is to sell, so i'm probably going to raid my pile of spares...
