When was your MSF class? 2009? That would make that 250 17 years old, which means an average of 11,800 miles per year. That's alot of 1st and 2nd gear riding, would lead me to believe it had burned...

I had a great one, and I didn't have to cut anything. I'll just have to do a little research to get the brand. It was easy to install. It took like 30-45 minutes.
