you may want to (individually) set each pilot screw for highest idle, best response. Do it after a ride, bike fully warmed up.

currently on a 250 set today....upon disassembly...

currently on a 250 set today....upon disassembly found both choke plungers frozen in place. Soaking in WD40, to follow with heated ultrasonic treatment.
Pics to follow as I progress.

I've read that a 1/2 oz of marvel mystery oil poured into each cylinder has reportedly worked wonders on long neglected engines.

Certainly worth a shot, no? I'd suggest leaving it to work for...
