Ask em to do an emissions test at your next MoT/equivalent in the UK they don't test bikes for this only cars. But would let you know if your cats gone.

Any little dirt or road grime could have fell in between the mating faces and misaliging them?

Oem/correct sprockets...

If its anything like my exhaust from commuting in winter it's likely full of holes or the cat (it's the little buldge in the header) has just degraded and effectively blown out so you've got more of...

Yeah if I was still back at my folks where they had an exposed steel girder int he garage I'd hang it off that but my little garage has a plasterboarded ceiling and I'm guessing crappy thin joists...

So I got a 2012 ninja 250r (uk so fi model) last summer as a tempory bike after my superblackbird got written off in a crash
It was weird goin to such a small bike (never had anything below a 600)...
