Going to taller gearing (43t), will actually slow you down at track. That’s because you’ll end up with lower torque at rear-wheel and less linear thrust at contact patch and slower acceleration....

Don't get switch and relay mixed up, they are not same thing. Switch is simple with an input and an output. Relay has FOUR terminals, two inputs and two outputs. Don't get inputs & outputs mixed up...
