I am late but I did mine off the right side, if you do them on the left where it leans it's just a pain. (I hate washing that side too)

Either way, on my bike I have 2 rotors in my way or 1 rotor...

I sold that today, and she found this little guy for $2400 with 3k miles.

check your coolant level

my 2005 puked it up one night and I noticed the fan plug was off, popped it back on and they kicked right on!
