When I first bought my bike all those bolts on both sides of the bike were loose! I would suggest everyone double-check those.

The fuel wont come out of the petcock no matter what the position when off because it's vaccuum operated , IIRC. It only comes one when ran or forced through some other way. You need to find out...

I just put some Kendas on my pregen to replace the crappy Dunlops and I couldnt believe the increase in handling. My GF has old Dunlops on hers and it's like trying to turn with square tires.

Normally, yes, but it also can knock the rpms up to anywhere from 2000-3000 while I do it and I wanted an accurate-ish reading at closer-to-idle rpms otherwise the light would immediately go off...

Basically, my bike is either out of tune or jacked up. My idle doesnt set to around 1500rpm until it's warmed up.

Facts: <1000 miles since oil/filter change with KN Filter and T6 synthetic.

When the bike starts up cold with a little choke, the Oil Pressure light stays on for a very long time (+10 seconds)...

I get 45mpg and I ride it hard most of the time... my GF's pregen gets 70 and she rides it the same way. If you smell gas it could also be coming directly from the carb. My carb was seeping gas out...
