After cleaning the carb and re-setting the valve timing I got it to run.

Need to sort out 101 little things, but pretty happy now. ;)

I found the 2T mark - it has 'Nippon Japan' stamped over it and it was very hard to see.

The cams are back in and timed with 33 pins.
