If you are just putting on a slip-on muffler, shimming the stock needles will work fine, no jet kit needed.

The jet kit itself isn't too hard to install however it's designed for use with a airbox delete and pod filters, where a single or pair of air filters replaces the stock airbox. It's the airbox...

The kit is designed (jets etc sized for) a bike with pods instead of the airbox, so it makes sense they go together. If one knows what one is doing then I suppose it doesn't matter, but I'd hope...

Fair enough but I think to lump these in with expensive bling weights like Rizoma and Yoshimura is a little inaccurate.

Lesson learned about sharing with the community on my part though.
