Good thing for me is learning how the engine acts...

Good thing for me is learning how the engine acts shouldn't be to bad. The Vulcan is literally a sport bike engine in a cruiser body. I'll just have about 4k rpm more to ring out lol :p

I decided not to wait...

I was going to wait until the riding season was over, but instead I went ahead and did it.

I put my Vulcan 500 up on craigslist for trade for a ninja. Hoping for a ninja+cash.

But anyways...

Most of them are young guys who want to take advantage of the riding season. Everyone is tailoring the 250 ads to the "newbies" and ten naming up the price. I haven't seen one that hasn't been abused...

Well I never owned a ninjette but.....

Well I had planned on buying a ninjette, but ended up buying a "cruiser" instead.

The reason I put cruiser in quotes is because I got a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 500, so the engine is basically a Ninja...
