I took the brackets off and took them in today. Far easier than putting the bike on a trailer I don't have to haul in, and makes the work easy.

Called and the first guy to answer barely spoke...

Over torqued valve cover bolts, snapped in half

Well this can't be good, bolts torqued to 12 foot pounds instead of 7.5 as called for, twisted them in half.

Hoping I can extract them from the engine...

Anyone else done this?
