Most likely milder cam-specs. Easier to pass emissions that way. Also hefty low-end torque compared to 300 and 20-lbs lighter too! :)

It's not absolute voltage that matters, but voltage differential. Fully-charged battery just after ride or off charger is about 13.5v, so 12v at grey wire would be detected correctly. Measure voltage...

Yeah, I could only fully use 150 rear-tyre with 4.5" rear wheel.

Inspect chain for tight/locked-up links. Sometimes, there's installation errors at shop using wrong tool and it pinches plates...

Did you measure resistance of resistor before installing?

I wouldn't trust PO's work. Trace grey wire from ignitor all way to ignition-switch. There may be other wires attached to it.

I took my 2009 250R from 372lbs down to 310-lbs with tossing pretty much all stock parts except for frame, tank, engine, carbs and seat. And also includes chopping unnecessary parts of frame off....
