I've also wondered what people do for adjusting mirrors with respect to being tucked vs. upright. My current setup is that my left mirror is usable when tucked (since I'm tucked on the highway and...

Thanks for the replies. Turns out the battery cables were terribly loose. My best guess as to what happened was that I didn't get the cables tight enough after reinstalling the battery from...

My motorcycle's been having a strange behaviour basically since starting it up this spring. The two main symptoms I'm seeing are 1) the tachometer going all crazy and bouncing around between the...

That seems at least slightly more legitimate, but that's also not the reasoning that I've heard for the current intent. (Alternatively, don't take your vehicle into situations that it can't handle...

As a motorcyclist, I would never consider lane-splitting, legal or not.
As a car driver, I would never want to have a motorcycle split lanes next to me, legal or not.

Well one of the things I was hoping to avoid was the purchase of a battery minder — yet another thing to tack onto the hidden costs of motorcycle ownership. It's probably awful to the battery,...

Winter Options

Winter is soon approaching here in the Midwest, so I'm starting to consider my options for the motorcycle over winter (generally late November into March here, so 3-4 months of non-use). I know...

Rubbing Brake Pads = Clean Brakes?

I noticed while lubricating my chain that both front and back brakes are rubbing a bit, the back almost all the way around the rotor and the front less so. Is there any adjustment mechanism or does...
