Looks like when it was installed the cuts weren't very clean lol. Seems I was in a hurry to install my new toy.. Before and after pics and so far no leaks!

If only I woulda done that and not of followed directions. I could always do that and just replace the hose I cut in half for the adapter. Off to a mechanic and see if he has any hoses that will fit...
