I had it for about 2 years, I've put about 15 000 KM on it, did a lot of highway trips! In the end, having a bigger bike made a bit more sense to me, and the timing / price was good, I sold the 250R...

It's to make sure the front end doesn't lift up under throttle, it would be pretty hard to wheely that thing with that 1 foot longer swingarm.

The volt is a hybrid (so it's not exactly cutting edge as in, it's not new technology), but in the sense as the electric engine is the main provider for movement...but you have to plug it to charge...
