250r wheel on 650r... bad idea?

08 250r 17" wheel with 130/90 tire (130/70 stock), 09 650r 17" wheel (160/60 stock). Stock chain/sprockets both.

This would just be for a day or two until I get proper sized tires for the 650....

Oh, really? I thought it's risky to go up in width due to manufacturer differences. I was planning on doing 120/(80-90)-17 or 130/(70-90)-17.

WTB 08 right rearset (brake lever/peg bracket)

Highsided last year and my right rearset (the bracket, peg, and brake lever) bracket snapped in half. Only need the bracket but if the rest of the rearset must come with that's fine.

I highsided last year and the rearset (the right bracket holding the foot peg and rear brake setup) snapped in half. I'm a dummy so I still rode it, but hey, at least I learned how to max engine...
