Now that's a very realistic number. It cracks me up when I hear people wanting to get into riding because it's more "economical".

However, I wouldn't trade it for anything else.

A good friend of mine uses the Shoei Qwest. He really likes it. It's pretty similar to the RF1100. I wouldn't call it a touring helmet.

Not sure if that was in jest, but trail riding will get you used to having the bike slide around underneath you. I rarely take my feet off the pegs while playing in the dirt.
