That is great news!!! And the market in your area is way different than here. My last 2 ninjas and the kat that I have now now cost me less than 1200. 2 ninja at 200 and 250 and 700 for the kat.

Don't forget the little things, full gasket set should probably be $100. And if it is apart you will want to flip the bearing. Valves....just replace them. And the seats, better to blow the $ now...

Starter fluid in the chamber? Cause if you have spark, it is on the gas side. I have gotten a motor with no rings to turn with a big enough bang so even if yours are shot it will chug to life.

Carbs are shimmed with 2 washers with the idle mixture screws about 2 3/4 turns out. Running a bit rich at idle.

But if it was carbs wouldn't it be doing...

so i noticed something today on the highway. it is an surging, it doesnt have to do with rpm but with speed, it happens around 60, 65 when i am just cruising. meaning if i get on it it doesnt happen...

Just an update:

took it to another shop today. Passed no problems. We had a good laugh about my experience at the first shop and the Po's ideas about running the back wheel backwards for better...
