So I had ducatiman (AKA Gordon) rebuild my carbs.

Started like a champ as soon as the carbs got fuel. I have heard "purrs like a kitten" before but now I know what it means. Cannot thank this man...

I do not know what he did. It was a buddy deal. the guy is a tech who owns a local lawn tractor sales and repair so I figured a small engine carb is a small engine carb.

good advice. I will try the vinegar first before I buy any commercial stuff. I do not have a pressure washer. Maybe vinegar then a bunch of nuts and shake like mad then repeat.

This is not rust, I looks like granite and it white and black the white stuff is like soft crystals and the black is like bubbles.

I searched and found everything from vinegar to commercial stuff...
