Turns out that it was not plastic piece but a metal sliver that is common and easily taken care of. I didn't have to get a new ignition. Thank god!

i did have it lowered but it was just the back end.
The shocks in the front were the problems and he didnt mess with the front so he wouldnt have seen the bolts missing until now.
