Quick question on stock spark plugs

the local store i went to only has NGK CR9E in stock, I understand it's cooler plug than the stock CR8E. Mine is a stock bike, is it going to be fine to use CR9E? thanks.

yeah, i can confirm that the mystery hose should just be hung to the back of the bike, and it shouldn't be connected to anything..here is how mine looks like.

Also note that the tachometer was acting weird at that time. The RPM was jumping up and down like crazy as it's very unstable and not accurate.

Yeah, get a service manual, tear it apart again and try to rebuild yourself. At least you can learn how to put the engine back together.

I used the #4 stainless washers from Hillman. But I used for 2 for each carbs for my stock bike. I guess it's too rich to cause it running funny or i did something wrong during the mod.

update: I went back to start the bike to let it warm it up yesterday before adding seafoam inside the tank...the bike started without any problems with choke on.....I let it idle for a good 5 minutes...

if you already changed the gas and ran some carb cleaner inside in the tank...my guess would be there is a vacuum leak somewhere, check to see if you installed the gas tank properly....

i have the same exact problem with mine after storage...i would try to run seafoam to see if it help, then i'll drain the old fuel, hopefully, that will get rid of bad contamination in the tank....

I just took out the seat and battery cover to recheck every thing...I realized that i accidentally used the black screws for securing the seat, they should be used for holing down on the battery...
