Why did you need to rejet and shim? I had my needles shimmed until I had Ducatiman refurb my carbs. Now they run best completely stock.

You can test petcock flow by sucking on the vacuum hose with the output line running to a container. It doesn't take much vacuum to open it.

A clogged tank vent can prevent flow too.

That 90mph rating is related to heat buildup. You shouldn't maintain speeds over 90 for a long time. For drag racing purposes it's irrelevant.
