I did replace the cam chain tensioner on the 2008...

I did replace the cam chain tensioner on the 2008 ninja i had, and it was one of the best things i could have done. the bike sounded much better. and i solt it with the same miles as yours...

Just a before and after. I installed a manual cam tensioner on my ninja 250 with 48k miles which was very loud and the engine sounded like crap. With the tensioner it sounds so much better.

It depends where we are riding to. I met at 10am at the sheetz in haymarket to do VA rides. But alot of times i meet in Burtonsville to ride around Maryland.

Manual cam tensioner for pregens?

Is there any such thing? I installed a manual tensioner in my 08 ninja and that really made the valve train noises go away. Was looking for something similar for my 02.

Any one know of a vendor?

havent ahd the opportunity to do anything, i did replace the sparkplug wires a while ago. The fuel petcock seems good.

the bike is loosing a bit oil. not sure if its related. Ill keep you guys...

Losing power in the rain

My bike yesterday on a wet commute was losing power from time to time in traffic. It would ride fine, until it started losing power and it felt when i gave it throttle that it would lose more power....
