I did clean the pilot jet but am not quite sure what you mean by "adjust" so pardon my ignorance there ducatiman. I will look up that term.

I'll fiddle with the idle crew and see what results....

Could you see through the main and pilot jets? If not, blow compressed air through them. Once you reinstall the carbs and connect all hoses with the tank, etc., adjust the idle screw when choke is on.

Forgot to remove the choke cable. So now the carbs are waiting to be cleaned tomorrow. Whew.
