1000 miles in 24 hours (IBA Saddle Sore 1000) is easily do-able, even on a 250 Ninja. 1500 in 24 is a little tougher (IBA Bun Burner Gold). He probably meant going a 1000 miles.

Got mine covered in bugs during a group ride on the alphabet roads in SW Wisconsin. It's going to get a major detailing tomorrow. Had no problems keeping with the big dogs in the twisties.

I wouldn't worry about it. I did the same mod last year and so far I haven't killed my battery. Let us know if you put in LED's and where you got them, and if you like them.

AFAIK the GoPro stops recording as soon as the card is filled up. I have read on other forums that the next firmware may support looping (don't quote me on that).

I just bought a GoPro Hero2 for aerial videos/photos and to use as a dash cam/helmet cam. I bought a 16GB card but will be getting a 32GB soon. With the 16GB I can get around 3 hours of HD video....
