Installed braided lines, now my front brake light does not work

I installed the front line yesterday, and am pretty sure that after I checked it and the light was working. Took it for a test ride, good.

What exactly does the oil level window show - apart from oil level?

I see when my bike is running that liquid seems to dribble in from upper through a slot. Is this showing oil return through the clutch? It also seems to be more vigorous as the oil warms up.

I finally did the valve clearance on my 06 Ninja

They were tight all round, measuring less than 2.5 thou on all valves except cylinder 1 exhaust 2, which was a loose 6.
I set them to 6 on exhaust and 5 on inlet. The 9mm deep socket as recommended...

The way that it is slow to accelerate from idle is a sign of the idle mixture being lean. That would mean cleaning the jets (and rest of carb).
