I used DucatiMan's image since it shows the hose that gave me problems. I had a tear where the arrow indicates. It was a tiny tear. When it leaked when the bike was running, the gas appeared to...

I pulled my carbs today to send to ducatiman. The bike has been running fine, but it felt low on torque. I opened up the air box to discover pieces of what used to be an air filter rolling around...

When I got the bike, there was a little divot in the tank where it had been damaged by a previous owner. With the build pretty much done, I took the tank in to be media blasted.... which revealed...

Yep! To go in to a little more detail, when the bike was running it looked as if the leak was coming from the float bowl gasket area. I had a flash light out, looking as closely as I could trying to...

I was in the same boat this summer, taking the carbs apart twice trying to pinpoint the leak. In my case, it was torn tubing in between the two carbs. It was hard to see, given the location, even...

The suspension upgrades have been great. My rear wheel would be in the air and spin up at with even moderate bumps. The bike feels much more stable now and still feels comfortable to ride.

Replaced the clutch cable that gave way today on my way to lunch. Replaced the petcock too, since it would flow fuel without a vacuum.

Last weekend had front springs, sprockets and chain put on. I...

My tank has held up okay to knees, but I do think the dip coat helped a lot. Give it a shot! It sounds like you know what to expect (as to the lack of durability) and you can always peel it off...

I used PlastiDip on my bike while I take my time deciding about paint. The Dip Coat product helps durability... it cuts down the rubbery feel quite a bit. Any area that sees regular friction,...
