08-12 refurbed carbset , my #87

stock jetting, #98 main, new pilot jets and pilot screws. Pilot screws set to 2 1/2 turns on L, 2 1/4 turns on R. L & R needles are located in correct positions....

Traditionally, the upper triple must be removed and flipped somewhat backwards to reveal iggy switch mount bolts. I believe yours will be affixed with 2 torx bolts from the underside.

Red flag! Intermittent electrical connection needs to be eliminated. You really sure you don't want to do that internal ignition switch circuit...
