I was going to replace the brake pads on my Ninja, but I gave in to my conscience and I'm going to replace all the caliper and master cylinder seals while I'm at it.

I bought a 2009 with around 5K miles a year ago for 2100, in pretty much perfect condition (never dropped). I considered a pregen but I don't think I would have paid more than 1500 or maybe 1600 for...

Bedding in new brake pads

I'm planning to do a track event soon but my brake pads are kind of low. I'd prefer to have new pads, and I was thinking of getting EBC pads, but their bedding in period is 200 miles and I probably...

That would be cool! I don't think the organization I'm planning to go with does that, but I don't know for sure. I'll definitely look into that.

Yeah the rental cost does add up, especially the mileage. My trouble is that I live in an apartment complex and I already have 2 cars (neither of which is set up for towing). So I can't really go...

They have vans for the same price - but they might be easier to get the bike into and out of. I have a wheel chock for the bike but I'm not sure what the options are for non-permanent installation in...

Thanks for all the input so far everyone. I'm just looking at prices now and it looks like around $100 to get a pickup truck from U-Haul for...

Well I was hoping that crashing would be fairly unlikely. I can afford towing costs etc. if it comes to that. Assuming I was ok, I'd be more concerned about the damage to the bike than anything else...

track day - getting there on the bike

Does anyone do track days without another vehicle to bring the bike to the track? Just wondering if this ends up being a lot of hassle. I'm hoping to do my first track day soon, and there's an event...

When I got my bike, the only thing wrong with it was a small bolt missing from the windshield. It didn't seem like a big deal so I just go another one from Ace Hardware and forgot all about it. Until...

My throttle has too much play, but I can't seem to adjust it at the lever end. I can't really make sense of the adjuster there. It's really hard to turn, and doesn't seem to have any effect. I could...

I wouldn't pay that for a 250. 3000-3500 is about the going rate for a 2013 300, based on what I've seen. You can buy 250s with fairly low mileage for closer to 2K. The practically no miles part...
