Well, apparently the Ferrari 250GTO was named after the displacement of one cylinder. We are running 125cc per, so something about half the CFMs of an IDA 48 couldn't be too far off... I doubt they...

Thanx for the tip. Just looked up an article on the Cobras and I guess they save 6lbs of weight. The debaffled sticker were actually not even worth 1 jet size and sounded miserable lol.

If it's the upper left of tank that's leaking you may have installed too long of a fairing bolt and punched through at some point. I've managed to do this on 2 different pregens but jb weld on the...

This is interesting, thanks. The actual ID where the stock header mounts to mufflers is 1 1'4" but starts at 1" out of the head, interestingly enough. I'm inclined to agree about the stock twin...

P.s. I would've went the refurbished route myself had I known it was a thing those tiny carb parts can be soul suckingly frustrating to deal w lol.

I did have to separate my carbs but can't recall the reason. The biggest issue is getting frozen screws out, an impact driver w a hammer and small vice grips are a given if the carbs haven't been...

Custom pregen exhaust options

I'm trying to find a source for small diameter pipe, a 27mm-? universal 2-1 merger if such a thing exists. Everything else can probably be dealt with using thinwall emt, a wire feed, and maybe an...

Pregens really benefit from better jetting, especially if that ridiculous airbox is messed with. I think one can get 2 birds with 1 stone by going at those CVKs w a jet kit while cleaning everything....

I'd really like a go at one of these heads. I doubt Dremel offers flapper wheels small enough but just a basic deflash/smoothing of ports can't hurt and a good excuse give the valves a fresh lap...

Now this interesting, these do seem to have a power band that is way too smooth and linear for such a high strung motor. I don't know about a 400$ exhaust on a 1500$ bike though, just need a bit more...
