I'll yank the red rubber discs if the problem return.

Thanks for the helpful reply Ghostt. I took it all apart before I read your post and found those red rubber discs. The location in the cap had a lot of whitish flakey stuff. I just cleaned everything...

Gasoline defying gravity

Gas bubbles up through the keyhole in the gas cap after a ride when the tank is full.

Float height

I was also going to mention float height. Very important.

Those 2 pilot screws should be set 2.5 turns out from lightly seated. And a teeny weenie washer or 2 under the needles should help.
