Update--Im back!
So about a year or so ago I bought a ninja, joined this forum, had good times, botched a valve job and dropped a valve, and disappeared. But now I'm back

gloves, boots, helmet, armored jacket, usually riding jeans...but sometimes regular jeans...Im not convinced the riding jeans are that much better than regular. I do have some legit riding pants...

I hear you. However I intend to be long time rider and will not pay for routine maintenance to be done by a "mechanic". Part of the reason I am doing it myself is to LEARN. I take it for granted...
