hey sorry, been really busy.

havent had a chance to do anything yet, but im going to drill out the mixture screws and enrich the fuel a bit see how it goes. will post results. thanks thus far.

just took the choke cable off and put it back. it is on right for sure.

I understand that its starved for fuel, but can't that be cured by changing the idle/air mixture screws? I have to pull the carbs...

Not to my knowledge. Pretty sure one of the valve guides is leaking because on onerous of the old spark plugs there was a line of oil drainage/wash. Where can I find the specs to readjust the valves....

Plugs were fouled, just changed them out with NGK iridium. Definitely rides a bit smoother, yet, it is still having trouble starting.

Choke cable is working right, the little piston slides back in...

yes, that is obviously an option, yet, my bike will crank and chug slowly for a second. either way, i would have to sit off the bike waiting for it to warm up so any other method besides the hoopty...

Hey guys, dont know if anyone remembers my vacuum issue but i got it fixed and the bike runs/idles great.

I did notice my choke cable snapped at one part by the handlebars, so i had to disconnect...

No one? I cant necessarily figure out to get to the bushing/o-ring behind the throttle. Do i remove the 4 screws on the two throttle plaes inside the carb and it just slides out?

So, I have a 2005 Ninja 250 - really great condition mechanically. It only has 2,000 miles and has been maintained it's whole life. Recently went to jail, and didnt run the gas out of the carbs...
