What you need is a new set of springs. You can check the condition of the plates and discs while your'e in there, but its a safe bet that they are fine if you havent been slipping it for too long.

I had the same problem,it was a bad coil. You could test yours by swapping coils from one cylinder to the other. I picked up a set on ebay.

The oil may have seeped past the rings during shipping if the engine was turned upside down. Leave the plugs out, remove the flywheel bolt hole cover and try and turn the engine with a socket wrench.
