Yes you can re use the base gasket, you can actually stack base gasekts if you needed to increase your deck height. Make sure to buy a new head gasket though.

282 build w pics

I am again building a 66mm motor(282cc); figured I would post up some pics as I go.

We have had issues in the past with overbore cylinders leaking... so I had my machine guy press them out and...

any given time I could have 8-12 engines in process... think about having to find a place to put all...
