Adding on to what Xoulrath said about diet, you can drop a pound a week by cutting out 500 calories a day (3500 kcals in 1lb of fat). I found this easiest by switching to diet pop (none preferably)...

I got this (http://www.lowes.com/pd_338518-22328-85183_0__) 227 piece ratchet set from Lowe's on sale for $99. It has 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 drive with a screwdriver set, allen keys, and hand wrenches....
