Where should I mount sliders?

I've never installed sliders before...

Wondering what y'all have found to be a good mounting point for sliders on pregen your ninjette. I'm not really seeing any good place to mount to...

Looking for street-fighter-type fairing...

I have a similar issue between 7-9. I would describe it as bogging. So far I haven't tried anything to fix it, but I will be cleaning the carbs soon; we'll see if that helps.

The current DIY for fork oil and seals is done with a newgen(at least the one I saw). I will take pics as I go and will post anything useful I learn. :)
