Can't fit calipers over disc with new pads

I bought a set of EBC FA141 pads for the rear caliper but the new pads appear to be too thick to fit over the disc (there isn't enough gap between them). I pushed the big pad out as far as possible...

I'm not sure. Take a look at your manual or call the dealer and check the first 4 digits of the part number (6303, etc.). 2RS simply signifies a double seal or not.

Not sure. I think the newer Ninjas have bigger rims but it is possible they share bearings. Check your service manual or Ron Ayers for the fiche.
