Ex250 vs ex500

Hello.

Has anyone here owned both, or moved up from a ninja 250 to an ex500?

Was it worth it? Is the 500 significantly more comfortable or quicker?

Two questions:

One, does anyone know for sure a good place to order full replacement kits for fairings? I did a quick search and saw a couple zzr250 fairing sets, wicked cheap, high $200a to low...

Anyone alter the stock color scheme of their ninjette? The one i picked up being yellow/purple with hibiscus flowers... In thinking of peeling the flowers off and doing a once over with flat black.

I took it for a spin, it's crazy it redlines near...

I took it for a spin, it's crazy it redlines near 12, I had it near 8 and it sounded like it was going to blow up.

The brakes aren't super strong, but oh well.
