I bought Duro HF 918 tires for my ninja. Going to install them myself. Local rip off ship wants $110.00 a piece to mount and install, and I have to bring them the rim! Anyway I cannot find any paint mark on either of the tires to designate the light spot of the tire. All I found was a white stamp mark - a square with a 8 inside the square, and about 5 inches away a lighter stamp mark, this one a circle with a G on the inside. Both on the sidewalls of the rim. i mean tire.
I contacted Duro by email asking what marking they use to designate the light spot, they have not responded. Has anybody else run into this kind of problem - installed tires on sport bikes that did not have any paint markings. If so is it just a matter of adding extra weight if needed and no big deal or is there something else I need to be aware of?
