Quoting a prior post here, but I finally got some video of a practice session. I'm on the 250, and a friend is on the 650. Her progress towards smoothness is clearly visible and it was reflected in her riding later that day.

"I've found that low speed mastery helps me with everything else. If you can manage to ride smoothly at low speeds, then doing it at a higher speed (on a much more stable machine) is gravy."
