You need a diode kit to keep the power from bleeding over to the other side via the dash indicator. It does this with the stock signals, but the incandescent bulbs are so inefficient they won't light up. The low-power LED signals will light up just on the bit of power that trickles through.

I understand how this would cause both LED signals to flash simultaneously. I don't get how this prevents the front right signal from even lighting up at all while the front left works fine. Do you think this solution will make everything work again like it is supposed to?
