no such thing as too much grip if the tires last
my next set will be the alphas due to cost but I'd expect the pirellis to be better tires if only due to the price. The DRIIs I have on the bike now are doing well, the rear feels planted but the front feels iffy when I enter WOT. That may be more of a suspension issue than a tire issue though
